This is further to our circular ref no:
NSCC/F&O/C&S/796 (download no. NSE/CMPT/10169)
dated January 31, 2008 regarding approved securities towards liquid assets
in Futures & Options Segment and list of
approved banks for issuance of Bank Guarantees / Fixed Deposit Receipts in the Futures & Options Segment.
The revised list of approved
securities as given in Annexure I, II & III and the list of approved banks
for issuance of Bank Guarantees/ Fixed Deposit Receipts as given in Annexure IV
for Futures & Options Segment shall be
effective from March 03, 2008.
Haircut for the securities in
Annexure I & Annexure II would be equivalent to the respective VaR of the
security. The total number of Approved Securities is 582 and the total number of Approved Banks is 59.

are requested to take note of above.
